Did anybody see my lenses?

Bodog just gave me the head-up and it's amusing enough to talk about it. The new branch of Eidos, Eidos Montreal, which is currently working on Deus Ex 3 development just announced a few days back that they are hiring to begin the work on their second AAA title. What is this title? They don't say. However they give a hint. It begins with the letter "T". And there was no need for more to see the gossip craziness starting (which I think was exactly what Eidos was looking for after all so they're happy and I'm making them even more happy relaying the thing... A little thank you would be welcomed guys...).

So the current thread of speculations goes this way:

    * The title is AAA so it should be pertaining to an already well known franchise.
    * Eidos has the Tomb Raider franchise but well, this one is already handled by a studio other than Montreal so there would not be a real point for them to have Eidos Montreal working on that.
    * Eidos Montreal replaced somewhat Ion Storm Austin which developed the dreaded Deus Ex 2 and... Thief Deadly Shadows.
    * Hence the new AAA title developed by Eidos Montreal would be: Thief 4!

Well, of course there is some logic in there (you can see logic everywhere if you look hard enough). But there's no official confirmation from Eidos whatsoever.

Another point is that Thief (as designed by its original creators, the fine folks of the defunct Looking Glass Studios) was a trilogy and the trilogy precisely ended with Thief Deadly Shadows. So what would be going in a new opus?

It is to watch nevertheless. At least until the title of the game is known for sure. Keep in mind though that it could still be Tomb Raider "whatever-number-they-achieved-now". But it's always fun to do a little tabloid work for a change (you know, weird rumors, unconfirmed gossips, speculations)...  lol

Now if you want my opinion... I don't have any. Announcing a "T" instead of just going secretive and drawing a blank or out in the open and announcing a full title is just a common marketing trick to get the fuss started. So I'll wait until Eidos decide to open the mouth once and for all.

Heh heh ... Josh just said "boobie" ... heh heh....  Roll Eyes

No, Lara's already being done by the great folks at Ubisoft Montreal, so that's out of the question.

In fact the next Tomb Raider is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and Published by Eidos (as usual). So we already know that Tomb Raider won't fall on Ubisoft Montreal... At least not the next Tomb Raider  lol

Can Lara Crofts' boobies get any bigger? I mean, come on, I don't know how she gets around the way she does as it is now.

I'm a fan of Lara Croft. Mind you, I've never played any Tomb Raider games, but I do have this "Babes with Blades" fetish thing going on in my sad little head, so I've looked at a lot of screenshots, and I did see the movies. Well, I saw two of them. Are there more? I don't know.

   Here's a useful graphic:

"Now" being 2007. Here's a picture of the model they're using for the new Lara Croft, the lovely and talented Karima Adebibe. I enjoy this image very much, and thought I'd share:

Now, here's how it translates ingame:

Too skinny, I think. But I'm not a horny 12 year old, so whatever....

mmm... Now I think I understand the origin of some comments one may see on the web "she's fat!" talking about a girl that has absolutely no weight problem... If the younger male generation really think that real women are like what they see in games, they're severely delusional.

Oh well, feminine magazines... Now video games... It seems that every weirdo on the planet has for only objective to make women believe that men really love that kind of stuff... Yeah sure, men love skinny women with just the skin on the bones and not even enough flesh to potentially feed a Chihuahua... But when I say "men" I'm talking about 2% of the worldwide male population of course. The other guys? They're just *normal*.

She looks like she has to eat her peas one at a time!

But I'll skip my usual rant on two-dimensional (physically and mentally) women this time. Instead, I'll venture forth my guess on what "T" is supposed to stand for:

TRON: REBOOTED

Karima! Best Lara Ever. love  (Okay, so Nell McAndrew was good too...but Karima is...is...words fail me. Sorry.)  Kinda makes Ms. Jolie look like a shit sandwich with Botox dressing, doesn't she? lol

My experience with the TR games is limited to getting stuck in a demo (stupid bugs), but I can appreciate her contribution to boobies our cultural landscape, as well as jiggling boobies the integration of a strong female character with beautiful gigantic boobies and...and...

...screw it. I'm just looking at the breasts.

Anyway, another Tron game would be nice, wouldn't it? They left that one wide open, and as long as they don't get Monolith involved, it should be fine (Monolith: good games, but a little too rough for someone who just wants to soak up the atmosphere).

They left TDS open, as well. Although I think the trilogy was wrapped up nicely, I believe they could take it a little further. Garrett's apprentice, perhaps? Intriguing.

Or if they just totally redo TDS in a way (read: not using some overhyped eye candy engine) that doesn't suck, I'd be just as happy. That'd be great: running across a room would be *running* and not nausea-inducing lurching.

EDIT: Almost forgot:

OK, time for a  little saltpeter in the oatmeal, lest we get too excited:

I hear he's the new concept model for ES 5. Someone for a part of the fanbase to identify with.... curious

Scarier thing is -- it almost is, sort of, he's a tad too big (but not that much), I don't have any tattoos, my beard is much nicer than his, and, of course....he's not wearing pirate clothes

We do appear to have similar taste in drinks, however
