I can't believe it!..

The first game I purchased this year; and pre-order to boot, already has a major graphic bug from the get go....

Read this article posted last Sunday at
Blue'sNews.comA post on Voodoo Extreme identifies a texture-streaming problem that's a severe example of a problem with other Unreal 3 engine games, and they point to this post outlining a fix that should help correct this. The problem is that to change the pool size to address this, one must delve into the innards of a hidden bin file and the singularity.exe itself with a hex editor, which may be too daring for some folks, so hopefully Activison and Raven will come up with a more user-friendly fix going forward.
Check out
Voodoo Extreme article. It describes the problem much better and has pics with clear examples of the graphic bug....

Singularity PC Plagued By Texture Streaming ProblemsA update later....
Voodoo Extreme posted on their forms that they contacted Raven over the weekend and have received this reply:
"We are investigating the issue. To clarify this appears to be PC only and we will be sure to keep you up to date."
Well...I waited
this long for a FPS game I wanted to play; and early reviews on
Singularity have been good , so far, I going to wait for a patch before playing the game. I don't want this "bug" to ruin my experience playing this game....
