Yes she is, and the Welsh are very proud of that. Or maybe not. Probably not. And I don't think she's Welsh. I made that up.

Let's see...

Hmm...I see what you mean. Well, as long as she doesn't sing I think we're alright. I mean Arwydd. Although Britney should probably keep quiet  too.

By the way, did you know that the Welsh national weapon is the spear? Really, no shit. Pretty uncanny, huh?  :ss-sparkly

Which of course it's mainly the wig she's wearing. With her normal hair it's all less pronounced:

I'm less pronounced

I'll admit that all my female characters kind of do look the same with minor variations. All I worry about is that I want real women, not 12 year old anime girls with giant tits. If someone wants that let them download the Synx race or the ever annoying Cute Elves...

...hey, what has Britney gone and done?

I ain't no cute elf, so f**k off

  Oh dear. :xgrin:

Reason for edit: It occurred to me that the phrase "I want real women" should probably be something more like "I want my characters to look sort of like real women". But I'll leave it be in case anyone would like to quote it out of context. Feel free.

I want real women

Can do, but it'll take me a few days for an order that size (I'm low on chloroform and duct tape...long story). Until then, may I offer you a giant leek with a red wig and a hole in the bottom?

Hang on. I have to go stomp my own ass for that.

...and I'm back. The Cazy hairs, right? I only found out about them because someone's ported them to FNV. I don't care how much Conformulation or Blender-tweaking these guys do to the hairs, they never look as good in FNV (and FO3) as they do on the Oblivion heads. Well...yes...they were made for the OB mesh. That's why. I'm just irritated by some hairs looking so godawful in FO3.

Okay, these are pretty good though.

Not Shown: Oblivion screens. :-[
An interview with Kim Kardashian? Who wants to see that? I'd rather see an interview with the mortician's assistant who had to piece her head back together so they could have an open-casket funeral.

Hey, I'll take the modified leek. Could work at this point, you never know

Yep, Cazy hairs. I like them. Especially Rainy 11, or whatever it's called. There are a few good ones in there. Put them in my Celtic race thingie (which, in case anyone asks, no, I will never release as a mod. Too quick 'n dirty, too many other peoples resources, too much everything. And it changes every five minutes, like a breeding paramecium. So, no).

I'm using a new face texture for my Irish\Welsh girls. The one I was using was a little too glam for my taste, so I put in a new one, which I think is sort of based on Nec's headhuman texture with some tweaking on my part. I have a big folder full of face textures, all mislabeled, so I don't really know what the hell I'm using. Anyway...

Grania:

Not too bad I think. For the moment, anyway... :hammerhead:

Arwydd

Nid wyf yn Britney Spears

Editium:  Speaking of head meshes and hair, I'm using the Ren_0001 head in my race mod, everywhere else it's throttlekittys Hot Head (Female, works fine on males). I have Rens hairs conformulated for the Ren head, but the Cazy hairs work alright with the usual tiny problem:

I can live with that more or less.

A little more than a month before Skyrim comes out and Oblivion playing and modding ends forever! "Obliviwhat?" they will ask, and rightly so. Might as well close down that part of the Beth forums. Like they did for that other game that disappeared, what was it called? Oh yeah, Morro something or other. A new dawn.

(I love these idiots I see who can't wait for TES V, but in the meantime they're asking how they can run OB on low settings without massive stuttering.)

So...I put Vampire Hunting - Order of the Virtuous Blood into my new install, which I had played a small part of before my previous game died. I wanted a new character to play it with, and since I haven't lived the Khovian experience for a while, I hatched Oichi. That makes three characters in my current game now, all doing different quests. Wheee....

Oichi and the thing that kills stuff for her

Speaking of MMM, why is there a naked Orc in my cave? (No, "cave" is not a euphemism for anything. Just thought I'd clear that up before anyone got any strange ideas.)

And there's an angry person with bad grammar in Cloud Ruler Temple:

The improper use of contractions is one of the most serious problems facing our civilization today. The Apocalypse is coming. So is Skyrim. Mark my words.

Relax, it's going to be alright. To make everyone feel better, here is the most vile and disgusting pornography I could find.

You're all very welcome. I mean "welcome" in a general way of course, not like a "come to my home" sort of welcome. Believe me, you wouldn't like it here. I never seem to have enough chairs. And  my couch is very ugly. Kind of a sickly olive green paisley-type pattern. Truly hideous.

Reason for edit: Improper use of contractions.

Random crap.

I'm still installing my new install. Of course, one never really finishes an install, does one? To paraphrase Dali, an Oblivion install is never finished, it's just eventually abandoned.

I think I need to put whatever Redguard improver I was using back in. Varnado the armor guy is looking somewhat disturbing.

But I did remember to add the Better Looking Dark Elves mod again, so all is well with the Dunmer. Like in the case of Falanu Hlaalu, for instance:

Just lie very, very still...don't ask why...it'll be worth it...

A nice looking Falanu gives the expression "lucky stiffs" a whole new meaning, if you follow my drift. >:D

My humanized Orcs generally look alright, I don't know what the hell happened here:

:ss-ahhhh

I hate using companions, I really do, but lately I've been using Maigrets animal companions. They're no maintenance, indestructible, and can take down a Frost Giant. Useful and amusing. She has a pink sheep available, but it has vanilla sheep AI, which means it runs away from trouble. A pity, since watching a pink sheep with ribbons tearing apart a Goblin war party could have a lot of play value. :turnhappy:

is fudz tiemz?

And more endless mindless race creation. I have to stop this, I really do...

With a name like Brynhildr, do I really have a choice?

Random violence...

    I hate Balrogs.

I really, realy hate Balrogs...

And they follow you indoors. That's not fair.

Fortunately there were two essential NPC's who just happened to be there. I ran out the door, waited a while, and all was well when I went back in.

That fight made me hungry. Got any bugs?

Then some Legion guy sends me to a house nearby so I can kill a skooma dealer. Fine, except when I get there he has like five Xivilai with him. :scaredthehellout: Khovian Holocaust spell. Nothing else for it.

Mommy! There's a dead Xivilai in my bed!

After which I really needed a drink...

Smartass. Téigh trasna ort féin, and get me a beer when you're done.

Thanks.

On the scale of idiocy, the comments on mods at Planet Elder Scrolls beat them all.

Quote
how do u download the mods because im new if anyone can tell me but im gonna rate this a 10 ill download it wen i find out how.

The comments at the Nexus come in second, but occasionally there is a trace of coherent thought and usefulness. Just a trace, mind you, but it's there. At least at the Beth Forums there are a goodly share of intelligent people, bearing in mind I only refer to the OB and MW sections. Fallout 3, well.... :ss-nuts

I have as of late been hanging out in Elsweyr the Deserts of Anequina . Things to do, things to see, people to meet. And big cows with horns sticking out of their noses.

Moo

I like it there. It's the home of the Khajiit, I like Khajiit. They're not Bosmer. And there are Orcs, who I also can put up with. There seems to be a scarcity of Bosmer there, which is fine and good. There's a Valenwood mod, but I don't think I'll be downloading it soon.

Exoticness

I made a new character (of course I did, what do you expect? It's all I f*cking do, create new characters) to go there. She's a Khovian 1, believe it or not.

Original ZZ out of the box. Alright, I added the hair, but that's my prerogative, whatever the hell a prerogative is. I hope it's like a perogie. They're tasty and full of cheese and potato goodness. Yummy.

Corinthe Market

Met an old friend:

He skipped out of Vivec and returned to the ancestral homeland. I bought a copy of "Nerevar Moon and Star" for old times sake.

I met some other people too. I always do, no matter what. How odd.

So, whats up? Let me see....the Lush and Gaudy series has reached an apex of sorts with the new Lush and Gaudy Floriana Gloria, which of course I am using, and I'm quite happy. This reminds me of one of my favorite places, the Hudson Highlands here in New York, which is near the Hudson, and is land that is high. In Autumn:

And there are birch trees, or something:

Somethings happening to my skies:

What the....

Which thing actually confirms a theory I have about how Nirn was actually the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. But not the cockroaches. Oh, why couldn't it have wiped out the cockroaches? I think Bosmer are to roaches what birds are to dinosaurs, but I could be wrong. The fossil record is incomplete.

I haven't been getting neck seam problems with my characters lately, and they are even a bit less troublesome on NPC's. I have no freaking idea why this is, so I have no useful advice to offer. Anyway:

I has no neck seam

Can somebody tell me what the hell Kelly Bundy is doing in my game?

Could be worse I suppose. Nom nom nom...

It's been a while since I posted anything sheep related:

No, you can't go in. Move along, citizen.

I enjoy frenzy spells. Especially when used on Glarthir.

There's often collateral damage, of course, but that's just a part of life, you know?

I has collateral damage

Perhaps, but that's sort of the basis of all things gaming, isn't it?

 It's been a while. Stuff's piling up.

In an MMM related incident, a bunch of Flame Atronachs were fighting it out with some bandits, and there was collateral damage:

Mmmmm...venison...

Sometimes I like to drop into test cells, just to see what's there. Big Dremora, for one thing.

"Is everything in proportion? I mean, just wondering...no, don't show me...well, maybe..."

And you can meet celebrities. Ever notice that famous people don't always look the same when you meet them as they do on TV?

  Hate dialog zoom? Me too:

fDlgFocus=11.0000

This is kind of touching in a sick, weird way:

Hey, Goblins are people too. No, wait, they're not. Nevermind.

I've been debating switching to the TGND body, because I like it, and it's compatible with HGEC stuff, and there are now conversions for OOO, MMM, etc. I experimented by downloading some TGND armor and putting it on my HGEC characters. It works. I like the look.

More on this when and if I actually go and do it.

Here's a babe. You're welcome.

  Meanwhile...

At the moment I'm playing through Reclaiming Sancre Tor. It's big, a little buggy here and there, but I'm having fun. I'll talk about it later, maybe. Right now I'm tired of typing. And I have to go pee.

REASON FOR EDIT: A suffix can be an important thing.

Ever wonder why there are no hamsters in Elder Scrolls games? Me neither, but that doesn't stop me from writing about it.

Mesocricetus Auratus

I'd like to see "Fluffy, the Hamster Companion". He could have unlimited encumbrance so he can carry all your crap in his cheek pouches. Kind of like a furry Bag of Holding.

But...if MMM included hamsters, well, imagine the humiliation of being taken down by a horde of them? Nom nom nom indeed. :ss-ahhhh

 It's just a thought.

I like the way my OB is looking, what with all the Lush and Gaudy stuff and whatever the hell water thing I'm using.

Tamriel Gothic, by Grant Wood, if Grant Wood was an Orc. Maybe he was, who knows. Not me.

I was playing Reclaiming Sancre Tor, probably being someplace I wasn't supposed to be (an "open all locks" spell can be more of a curse than a blessing sometimes) and I ran into someone I knew.

Naked, but not dead

In case the reader is not a registered member here and can't see the above picture, let me explain: It's a picture of Mitt Romney being eaten by naked female Bosmer. Take that as you please. I know I will.

EDIT: Oh, wait, I forgot...

"The Enrichment Center reminds you that the Weighted Companion Cube will never threaten to stab you"

I will not stab you

Oh crap, it talked. Disregard.

Reason for edit: I forgot.

To begin with, a couple of character updates:

Grania has been hit hard by Cyrodiil's failing economy. She's been trying the live chat thing to pick up some extra drakes, but it hasn't really been working out.

Back to dungeon diving, I suppose. Oh, and since evil  is afoot, the Morrigan has returned to help it along:

Bosmer cutlets coming up!

Some oddities, which in Oblivion are not that odd, really. For instance, OB doesn't always seem to recognize when you've run out of water:

My OOO Amazons. This happens a lot, but I don't actually have a problem with it:

It can get a bit warm in these caves, you know?

The unregistered "guests" can't see that one. How unfortunate. They can't see this one either:

"I'm naked!"

An example to us all:

I'm alright, really. Just carry on, I'll be fine.

And to wrap things up for today, a lot of zombies.

A lot of zombies

Thanks for tuning in. And remember, You can't spell "slaughter" without "laughter". Well, you can, but then you'd only have "s", which could mean just about anything.
