A number of us come from the DOS era, the time when you really had to put your hands into the engine and when just the fact of attempting to run a game was already an adventure in itself. Starting with Windows ME then 2000 and XP, DOS has been completely stroke out of our systems apparently leaving our old cherished games stranded. However, there are today solutions to bring back those old games to life. In most cases it require some additional software (emulator) acting as a layer between the DOS game and today OSes.

This board is dedicated to our old DOS games and the ways you can revive them. If you have any question about a DOS game you would like to run again and that you don't know how exactly to do that, this is the place to ask.

Or just use it if you want to discuss games from the DOS era or share some fond memories of that time...
